Vivian Moon aka Cosmosis is a spoken word poet and hip hop artist based in Orange County, California. Inspired by the work of Carl Sagan and the power of community, Cosmosis aims to incite independent thought and revolutionary growth.
Partnering with producer and emcee Symmetry, Cosmosis released Current Virus in April 2020 and The Book of Cosmosis in October 2020. This fruitful connection birthed an underground artist collective with the goal to lift voices and create choices for diverse communities – Greenboro was born.
In 2021, Greenboro organized The People’s Mic, a virtual open mic for artists to build community, work on their skills, and share their truth. The People’s Mic takes place every last Wednesday of the month at 7 pm PST on Instagram Live @mscosmosis.
